Sustainability Victoria and the Circular Economy Business Innovation Centre (CEBIC) have launched both the Circular Economy Business Support Fund and the Circular Economy Innovation Fund for a third round of funding.

Combined, the funding pool is over $4.8M, which will go towards delivering projects in Victoria that innovate, embed and scale-up solutions and business models that:

  • prevent or minimise waste and pollution
  • keep products and materials in use at the highest value.

Both funds aim to improve the environmental outcomes of products, services, industries, supply chains or systems, and contribute to Victoria’s transition to a circular economy.

The 2 programs are designed to fund circular economy initiative development at different stages of life, and each has different eligibility criteria.

Previously unsuccessful Round 1 or Round 2 applicants can apply again for the Round 3 funding opportunity.

To date, both funds have fostered more than 36 projects that improve the capability and capacity of Victoria's transition to a circular economy. Learn more about the funded projects.
