Circular Economy Victoria

We are collaborating with Circular Economy Victoria to compound efforts and align activities to provide a faster transition to a circular economy in Victoria.

We are collaborating with Planet Ark’s Australian Circular Economy (ACE) Hub to transition to an effective and efficient circular economy.

Stop Food Waste Australia

We have joined Stop Food Waste Australia's Partnership Advisory Committee to support our joint mission to halve food waste by 2030.

Collaborative projects

Australasian Circular Textiles Association – Australian Textiles Network

The Australian Textiles Network is a new program launched by Australasian Circular Textiles Association (ACTA) in 2021. Sustainability Victoria and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) are network partners, supporting the network to drive action across the textile sector.

Research Hub for Transformation of Reclaimed Waste Resources to Engineered Materials and Solutions for a Circular Economy

Sustainability Victoria is supporting the Research Hub for Transformation of Reclaimed Waste Resources to Engineered Materials and Solutions for a Circular Economy (TREMS). The Hub – coordinated by RMIT University – aims to deliver novel solutions for reclaiming Australia’s waste resources and position Australia as a leader in research contributing to a circular economy.

CivVic Labs

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP), and Sustainability Victoria, collaborated with LaunchVic in 2020-21 to work with start-ups to develop innovative circular economy solutions that help businesses reduce food waste. Through CivVic Labs, an 8-month incubator program, Yume Food developed a solution to redistribute food through a digital platform and achieve greater scale by exploring new features.

Dairy Australia

We collaborated with Dairy Australia in early 2021 to deliver two interactive events focused on building a world-class, circular dairy sector.
